And we have a winner!

Almost perfect.

Some mods I would suggest to add to this, or a future version would be even more unique classes to add to replay value, and some sort of purpose to having a map. It extends infinitely in all directions and has no apparent purpose right now. May as well be an arena shooter.

good

good shooter, but the difficulty level is a bit high. I liked the weapons too, though you are usually best with soemthing that can go through enemies.

simple and FUN!

Dude, I don't give out 10/10's like candy anymore, but you get one!

Let me see... relatively simple gameplay, the graphics do the job, and neat little tunes to destroy your enemies to.

There are a bunch of different strategies that you can use, but they are easy enough to discern if you have half a brain, so I won't spoil that part.

I was playing this for a good hour without getting bored, and I was winning at least half of the games once i got the hang of it.

Fix the return to menu button ASAP please, but it's not really a biggie since the game is tiny anyways.

And I found that after hitting the 'ready" button, I needed to click inside of the game window again to get my controls to respond.

You might also want to increase the responsiveness just a tad, and maybe throw in some randomly appearing upgrades (and downgrades). A few ideas would be a rotating barrier that goes around the outside of the field, a zap turret that you can drop on a key territory, or a 5 second x2 power booster.

Seriously, awesome game man. I'm favouriting this one, and let's put this in multiplayer games guys!

You don't have to click inside the window anymore ;p

Glad you liked it. I'll keep your ideas in my head.

some problems

First, you get massive lag after buying the first upgrade. This can be solved by shooting sparingly. You're welcome.

Uh, let's see. There were no upgrade descriptions, so I wasn't really sure what I was buying, but I assume they were # of shots, speed, then the purple one didn't really give me multidirectional firing like it's picture implied, so I don't know what that did. Yeah, add upgrade descriptions.

The best strategy to use in each level is to start in the middle, and then break through one side and just sit it out there until most of the enemies are dead.

My most common cause of death was being shot by enemies before the level actually started. That sucked.

Please fix the above issues and you've got a great game here. This is one of my favourite genres, and it hurts me to see a poorly-made one.

good

I'd switch movement to WASD, and then aim with the mouse. Throw in some different weapons, maybe a money system, and passive upgrades if you decide to make yet another game. Perhaps a story mode with larger maps that you have to explore would be fun as well.

Nice graphics, good music, entertaining gameplay. A well-made game.

it's a good game

but a little too fast-paced. Slow it down a bit. No other problems that I found.

reminds me of bloons

Not a bad game, but not fantastic either. I had a little trouble firing because I had to click once and then hold down my second click to get it to work.

A good effort.

zen-ish

a few issues with the lack of differentiation in fireball trajectory and the controls felt a little unresponsive when I got a dragon in my face but the music and awesome oragami bird helped make up for this.

Rework collision detection, add some fireball variation, and then you've got a perfect thing here.

It's just nice having this casual relaxing thing going in an obviously apocalyptic environment. Well-done.

not bad

But I found it a little difficult to dodge the knives. Question difficulty was at a good level.

Perhaps you could add random health drops, or a constant health regeneration? That would even it out a bit.

Good concept. Keep up the good work.

awesome

I really enjoyed playing this. How far off is the completed game? (PM me)

Well I only found one strategy that works, and that is to combine all of your ships and take one star at a time and turn it into defensive. Well at least it's the best way.

Excellent, excellent game!

I like paintballing, reading, and watching flash videos. Gaming's also right up there.
