If anything is going to be fixed it will be your face.
not bad
It's a good puzzle game, that requires a bit of thinking and precision shooting. y only quirk was that I kept getting a lag at the end of each level even with the quality on low and the sounds off. And if you're wondering, my computer isn't from the 60's.
Fix the lag if possible, and this is an excellent game. Nice eye candy too. I'm going to reccomend it for the puzzle collection.
Yeah, that lag is strange. I don't know what's causing it. Don't worry though, everyone gets it. You can probably turn the quality up and the sound back on. lol
Thanks for the recommendation!
not so good IMHO
I would have liked more than one type of weapon, the ability to fire while jumping, and elimination of the delay while pulling out a weapon. Health pickups would also have been a VERY ncie addition.
very nice
I think that a longer campaign would do well in the next game.
I played through the entire thing, and I enjoyed myself quite a bit. It was very fun to play, and cool too.
I only wish that you recovered your health between fights. That would have helped a lot. Enemies that can take mroe than one normal hit would also be nice in the next version, but then you will have to include several swords. You will also have to find a way to make the bow more useful. In normal situations, it just takes too long to aim and pull back. The only time when you really need to use the bow is tot ake out that one tower. Maybe bow-only missions? Oh, and don't forget to have friendly units fighting with you (That you CAN hurt) in some missions too.
good start!
Suggestions:
-speed decrease on grass
-sun rotates with the map so it isn't always visible. it can be like a compass thing
I can see this becoming a pretty good game eventually if you continue this quality of work. Well-done.
good concept
once you get the hang of it, it's not bad. nice retro feel to it. Watch out for the guys with lasers, they do a real number on your walls.
extremely good game.
Well, I do have a few suggestions to perfect it:
-I'd like to be able to buy other units to defend my base besides infantry
-BUG: my henchman ran off somewhere and did not return and there is no way to execute him, so for the last half of my game I had noone to help my soldiers fight.
-It's a real pain when you can't target enemies outside of the big circle.
-i'd like to choose where my turrets are placed.
-massive attack should be engaged when you launch the doomsday thing.
-If you have enough guys in your base, you should be allowed to plot more than one thing at a time, and multiple operations at once as well.
-more cutscene variation
-no real reason to move your base, except to increase pop. count. They all seemed to attract the same quantities of enemies.
Well yeah, I beat it. I just finished playing this for the last three hours. I probably could have beaten it sooner, but I wanted to experiment and explore every little corner of the game. I liked it a lot, but it's still not quite polished enough to be perfect yet. The ending is hilarious, so if you have the time, play through the game. It's well worth it.
fantastic
I only had the chance to get to level 2, and then I lost my patience. BEWARE THE SALT FACTORY!
The controls were fine with the right touch. It doesn't take much getting used to.
Suggestion: Add checkpoints about halfway through the really hard levels
Music was fine.
And the blood effects were cool. It would be nice if the blood splatter would pile up on ledges and stuff though.
very good
I like what you have here, I played it all the way through. I have some suggestions if you feel like upgrading it a bit more:
-more upgrades (filter upgrades that negates acid rain, stronger helmet)
-could you make the stick men's legs move when they walk?
-I was hoping to see a screen at the end that showed me my total amount of rain collected and some blurb about stupid people buying bottled water
yeah I'm definately wanting to work on it more. I had a deadline for TAFE, but now that its finished for that I'll go back and add some more stuff in. I like your ideas for more upgrades.
I will go in and add more of a wrap up story. Thanks for your suggestions.
i'm in shock
Dude, this thing is BEAUTIFUL!
I played it for a minute, then went to your site so I could play as much of it as I could. It's perfect in every way that I want it to be.
PLEASE finish this off so that I can be happy for the rest of my life. Add a random level generator with a selectable difficulty in your full version, to add to the replayability.
I like paintballing, reading, and watching flash videos. Gaming's also right up there.
