quite good

I really like this type of game and I can honestly say that this is one of the best i've ever played of this type.

-Graphics are this game's strongest point. Nothing short of brilliant.

-More enemy types would have been nice but it's not a big deal. I found that a fair strategy for defeating them is to stick close to the walls - the AI seems to get stuck against the wall which makes an easy target.

-Upgrade system is nice. Enough variety to experiment with different builds. I do very strongly feel that you should award two skill points per level after level 5 or something like that. One just isn't enough because it starts to get too difficult far too quickly. Another thing that would have been nice would be more weapon types. Missiles are a personal favorite. And a way to get more bombs would be swell as well. Perhaps as random pickups?

But as it is right now I just don't feel it's possible to get fully upgraded in arcade mode. Unless some people here have inuman reflexes or something.

Not much else to say. It's a good game. Could be better but that could be said of any game.

epicsauce.

Amazing brawler. Wicked awesome moves, unique control scheme (one attack button) that works very well. Lots of fun enemies to destroy. Tough bosses. This game almost never gets boring.

One thing I would have liked would have been gold and an upgrade system. Oh well. Maybe in the next one? Pretty please?

I can also testify that the bosses are in fact beatable. Some just take a few tries to get the hang of how to kill them.

I also would have liked some bonus levels/modes. Zombie mode, survival, hold the line, kill X enemies in X minutes, don't let the crows eat the bodies, stuff like that.

Amazing game. This one's going in my favorites.

charming little game

Beautiful animations, nice easygoing game. Great way to pass 10 minutes.

I didn't like the inconsistencies in the story though. Why did some things remain powered while others died out? I just found it to be a little strange. And 10000 years seems a little excessive as well.

I like it

Well since I discovered this was out on Armor games i've been playing it for a while each day. It was fun at first but after I finally got to the last level and started finishing up all of the modes i've gotten bored of it quickly. Now I only play a few levels per day. It's an amazing TD game but now I can only handle it in small doses.

Graphics as usaul are amazing. Probably the game's strongest point. Story I don't know much about since I just skipped those parts. Some NPC's would have helped to make some levels more interesting. Moveable heroes (like in some other TD games) may be a good addition if you decide to do a third.

Tips: Try redistributing your skill points if you're having trouble with a level. Play the triple experience levels as they become available to go up levels more quickly. Also, some skills are fairly redundant and do not need to be invested in at all. PM me if you're stuck and need more advanced tips.

Despite Zero's flaws, it's still one of the best flash TD games available. I've come to think that it is meant to take a long time to actually beat every level and if that's the case then this is surely the longest-lasting flash game ever made. I'll continue to play it a bit every day until i'm up on that high score list.

not bad

I just spent the last couple of hours beating the game and I have some suggestions for you if you ever care to make a sequel:

-tank upgrades and special abilities instead of just new weapons
-campaign mode. 60 arena battles get boring real quick

hot damn!

for some reason I got REALLY EXCITED playing this game of yours. I was button mashing and making funny faces as I struggled to dodge the whims of your imagination. Great job with this!

It'll probably get added to my favorites after I play a few more times.

very fun, could be epic though

Well what you have here is a good game. It gets repetitive though and that's it's big weakness. After I got a good gun everything felt the same. Every 'day' I went out, killed zombies, repeat. Even with your three options there isn't enough diversity. Hanging out in the same parking lot for a few 'weeks' isn't fun. It's dull.

I imagine this game could be like a top-down Left 4 Dead. You could explore new areas and actually find the weapons rather than have some jerk give them to you whenever he feels you're good enough for 'em. I'd also love to see some allies that help you out. You could explore new areas and have different objectives on each map (protect the house, find/rescue all the kids in the school, make it to the objective within a certain time, etc.). Then you can replay levels to find those hidden weapons that you missed the first time through and such.

If you are planning on making a third game I strongly urge you to consider my suggestion. If you want more ideas then send me a PM and i'll give them to you.

And if you could change that navigational arrow to a different color for a quick fix that would be nice. Red on red isn't cool. Minimaps are good.

very good fun

While relatively simplistic, this game was very fun to play. I didn't like how some levels relied so much on luck and I would have liked some explosions but that's not a big issue.

The car effects were also good, with the acceleration and deceleration speeds.

The whole game had a fun atmosphere with those random facts and the ending was amazing.

If you do make a sequel i'd make it look a little nicer and add some different game types. One where you try to make the largest accident possible would be fun. And another where you have to help an ambulance get through the full city streets. You'd have to add turn lights though so it may get more complicated.

And keyboard shortcuts would be cool - giving the player the option to set up their keys quickly after viewing a level.

And a level select. We need that.

Good job man.

not bad

some issues though.

I think that permanent upgrades would help, since your cannon just can't shoot fast enough in the later levels.

It's also pretty difficult to rebound the bullets from enemy to enemy. Make some solid walls to help with that.

extremely entertaining

well that kept me busy for a good 15 minutes. Very nice game.

I agree that more complex combos would have been nice. And adding some things that heal you a little bit would have been a nice touch as well.

I like paintballing, reading, and watching flash videos. Gaming's also right up there.
